Crazy Jake

Jake Chambers took me to a skating rink after hours to play roller hockey with his friends.
He set up a tent on the roof of his jr. high school and we watched a movie. That was where he tried to kiss me. It's also where he told me about one of his old girlfriends. She seemed very nice and he began to laugh while telling me about her, which made me start to laugh, and we were both laughing when he said, "I don't know why I'm laughing, she died!" She ran her car into Pineview Dam and drowned while he was on his mission.
He took me to Snowbasin for my first time. That was when I had the most delicious tomato bisque in the world.
Valentine's Day was our screw Valentine's Day date. No wearing red, no restaurants, no flowers. I bought the most Valentiney shirt I could find in the children's section. He sent flowers to my work. In every rose was a little folded up note. I like your style. I love yo sweaty hands and that bump on yo head. I think it's bitchin we can talk about everything.
We played paintball in his backyard. He left to change clothes and came back in only tiny red shorts and knee high socks. His dad grabbed a paintball gun and shot at him throughout the house.
Mel told me not to get too attached. Jake dated a lot of girls and it was just for fun to him. I told her it was fun for me, also. The next day he sent me an email that said he was disappointed to hear I wasn't interested in dating him, that he had thought there was chemistry, that at least we can be friends. I was too scared to say I felt one way or another. He was crazy. And so weird. I think I liked him.
