Twins
Kari and I bought 80 rolls of toilet paper and a poster board in order to celebrate the Twins's birthdays. We made a 'Happy Birthday Ryan and Randy' sign and stashed it and the toilet paper in my garage. That evening we went to a young womens sleepover activity and, once everyone was asleep, we carefully made it through the house and door to freedom without making a sound. We ran to my house, grabbed the stash and ran to the Twins'. I tossed a roll towards a tree and it caught high and perfectly, leaving a lovely stream of paper gently swaying, and I knew this was the best thing we had ever thought of. I was on my forth toss when a car came down the road. I peeked out from my hiding spot and saw the police car screech to a stop and a German Shepard and cops leap out of their car with their flashlights flashing in every direction. I gave myself up while Kari ran off with the dog on her tail. One cop grabbed me and yelled, Where are the others! I shrugged as the other cop dragged Kari to where we were standing with the pile of toilet paper and the Happy Birthday poster in between us. Kari and I stared down at our stuff as we were scolded about littering. We were then told to clean up the mess and ruin the best birthday ever.

Crazy Jake
Jake Chambers took me to a skating rink after hours to play roller hockey with his friends.
He set up a tent on the roof of his jr. high school and we watched a movie. That was where he tried to kiss me. It's also where he told me about one of his old girlfriends. She seemed very nice and he began to laugh while telling me about her, which made me start to laugh, and we were both laughing when he said, "I don't know why I'm laughing, she died!" She ran her car into Pineview Dam and drowned while he was on his mission.
He took me to Snowbasin for my first time. That was when I had the most delicious tomato bisque in the world.
Valentine's Day was our screw Valentine's Day date. No wearing red, no restaurants, no flowers. I bought the most Valentiney shirt I could find in the children's section. He sent flowers to my work. In every rose was a little folded up note. I like your style. I love yo sweaty hands and that bump on yo head. I think it's bitchin we can talk about everything.
We played paintball in his backyard. He left to change clothes and came back in only tiny red shorts and knee high socks. His dad grabbed a paintball gun and shot at him throughout the house.
Mel told me not to get too attached. Jake dated a lot of girls and it was just for fun to him. I told her it was fun for me, also. The next day he sent me an email that said he was disappointed to hear I wasn't interested in dating him, that he had thought there was chemistry, that at least we can be friends. I was too scared to say I felt one way or another. He was crazy. And so weird. I think I liked him.

Jobs
Sonic Drive-In
Randy gave me his nice rollerblades when I was hired as a car-hop, which led to requests for tricks from the customers. When business was slow, car-hops were told to skate around the building to check for trash. I learned a lot, like, to make sure and bring someone the fry sauce they asked for if I didn't want to wake up in the middle of the night when I realized I never did, or that cash should go in my cash apron and not my pants pocket.
Learning Wrap-ups
I packaged wrap-up toys and mowed and trimmed the property with my bff Rob.
Focus
Baskin Robbins
My boss was named Vendenna and she was terrifying.
Sizzler
I worked with my friend, Charlotte. I didn't date a cook or get in fights over the cooks. So I didn't really fit in. One manager approved my request for time off, the other manager fired me when I didn't show, and I wasn't too upset.
Weber State Credit Union
Curtis, Tesse, Baumgartner, Brock, Teresa, Cool Kathy, Crappy Kathy, Carol, Glen, Dustin, Robyn, drunk mortgage loan officer, gay mortgage loan officer that wasn't Kurtis, Kurtis, Trevor, Jill, Jill, Jared, Casey, Kristin, Patrick, Colleen, Becky, that guy in Royce, Chelsey, Angie.
I will love and remember them forever. Except for Dustin. He is such a dick-face.
Goldenwest Credit Union
It wasn't bad or good or memorable.
APX
I've never cried harder or been happier. Kentucky was the most beautiful summer.
After School Program
I fell in love with 20 children and tolerated 7 more.

Substitute
Very dull.
Home Depot
Very unbearable.
Smith-Knowles
Pretty cool.
Weber County Library
I worried that working there would make me dislike libraries, but found they're even better than I had ever known.
B. B.'s
We'll see.

David
David Anderson was a Senior when I was a Sophomore. He was tall and handsome and played basketball. I thought he was probably cool since he played basketball and was older than me. After my graduation I was working with his mom at Weber State Credit Union. One day David came in to see her and withdraw money. I was his teller and we talked for a couple of minutes. After he left, his mom told me David wanted my number. Three minutes later he called and asked me out for that evening.
When I got into David's truck for the date he suggested we eat at either of the two restaurants I disliked- Sandy's or Maple Gardens. At Maple Gardens he told me had served his mission somewhere where the food was spicy and bragged a lot about his tolerance. He ordered something spicy, couldn't eat it because it was too spicy, and helped himself to most of my meal.
I mentioned my hobby of rock climbing and a good climbing gym in Riverdale. He decided to take us there after dinner. The gym had a group of regulars who were the coolest, hardest-core guys in the city probably. Being a novice climber and a girl made me intimidated by them and I always tried hard to not look pathetic in front of them. When we got there, David couldn't climb any route. At all. He was embarrassingly terrible. When we decided we had had about enough, I told David we couldn't leave until he completed one route, even if it was the kid route up to the slide.
He tried and fell and tried and fell again. He stretched his arms to the highest handholds he could reach, then planted his feet against the wall and started inching them up. His butt stuck out farther and farther from the wall. Everyone in the gym was staring. He maneuvered his butt closer to the slide until he made contact, then rolled/shimmied into a sitting position, and flopped down the slide.
He laid sprawled out at the bottom of the slide triumphantly. I laid down near him and he told me how his last girlfriend once covered him from neck to waist in hickeys.
We went to his house to play video games. When we got there he realized he was locked out of the house and became horrified. He tapped on the door for his parents to let him in. He tapped again. I said I didn't think they could hear it. He got out his cell and called his parents. He apologized repeatedly for waking them up and getting them out of bed to unlock the door. The lock clicked and David said wait. We stood in silence for a full minute and then went inside. We made our way through the pitch black house to the basement. We reached the bottom of the stairs and David whispered, "Come find me," and vanished. I heard him go inside a room off the hallway and felt my way over. I flicked on the light and caught him standing in the middle of the room in a pounce position with a devious/sheepish expression. Then he got a bloody nose.
I played Mario Kart alone for twenty minutes while he attended to his bleed. He eventually shoved a wad of tissue in his nose and played Mario Kart with me for a bit.
Around midnight we got to his truck to go home and he sat on the panic button and set off the car alarm.
